3/4 c. butter
1 1/3 c. packed light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. plain M & M's
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Beat butter and sugar until fluffy; blend eggs and vanilla. Add flour, soda and salt gradually. Mix well. Stir in candies and nuts. Drop by tablespoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 9 to 10 minutes. Makes about 2 dozen cookies.
