POTATO-MEAT-SCALLOP 
4 c. pared thinly sliced potatoes
1 1/2 c. thinly sliced onions
1/2 to 3/4 lb. ground beef
Salt and pepper to taste
1 can tomato soup
1 can water

Alternate layers of potatoes, onions, and chunks of ground beef in a deep 2 1/2 quart casserole. Sprinkle on salt and pepper over each layer. Combine soup and water and pour over mixture in casserole. Cover. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
