1 dozen ears corn 6 white onions 4 red sweet peppers 6 green peppers 2 c. sugar 1 qt. vinegar 1/2 pt. water 1 tbsp. salt 4 tbsp. mustard seed 2 tbsp. turmeric 1 lg. head cabbage 1 hot pepper Cut corn, chop vegetables, add other ingredients except flour to thicken. Boil 20 to 25 minutes. Thicken with flour and water. Boil 15 minutes after thickened, stirring often. Spoon in jars and seal. |
