STUFFED FRENCH TOAST 
1 loaf sour dough bread, cut in 2 inch slices

Make a slit on edge of bread 2 inches wide. You will be putting cream cheese mixtures in this.

CREAM CHEESE MIXTURE:

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 c. orange marmalade

Cream together.

EGG MIXTURE:

4 lg. eggs
1 tsp. pure vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. milk

Mix well. Stuff cream cheese mixture into slit side of bread, no more than 1 1/2 tablespoons. Then dip bread into egg mixture. Be sure to prepare griddle or skillet before placing bread on griddle. To prepare skillet or griddle, turn heat a little more than medium. Place 1 tablespoon oil onto griddle or into skillet, let get hot for minimum of 10 minutes. Dip bread into egg mixture, place quickly onto hot griddle or skillet. It should sizzle, if it doesn't sizzle, your pan is not hot enough. Make sure each side is a golden brown. When it is golden brown, place 1/2 teaspoon butter on top of bread. Let melt, then take off heat, place on plate. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve with warm syrup. Will bring a smile to their face!
