SOUR CREAM PASTRY 
3 c. flour (all-purpose)
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 c. or 2 sticks butter
1 c. dairy sour cream

Measure flour, sugar, and salt into medium size bowl. Cut in butter with pastry blender until mixture is crumbly. Add sour cream; mix lightly with fork until dough clings together and starts to leave sides of bowl. Gather dough together with hands and knead a few times. Wrap dough in waxed paper. Chill several hours or overnight. Have filling ready before rolling out dough. Roll out; cut into 5 or 6 inch circles. Put two tablespoon of filling toward center of dough; moisten edge with water. Fold over in half; seal edges with fork. Place on cookie sheet and sprinkle with sugar. Bake until golden brown at 400 degrees.
