ICE CREAM DESSERT 
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. quick oatmeal
2 c. flour
1 c. chopped pecans
1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream
2 stick melted butter
12 oz. jar caramel topping

Mix sugar, oatmeal, flour, nuts, butter and salt together. Put into large cookie sheet. Bake 15 minutes at 400 degrees. Crumble with fork while hot, spread half of crumbs over bottom of 9 x 13 inch pan. Drizzle 4-5 ounces of topping over crumbs. Spread softened ice cream over mixture. Cover with remaining crumbs. Drizzle 4-5 ounces of topping over top. Freeze until firm. 12-15 servings.
