7-UP CAKE | |
An old favorite! 1 1/2 cups (3 sticks) butter 5 eggs 2 tbsp. lemon extract 3 cups sugar 3 cups all-purpose flour 3/4 cup 7-Up (soft drink) Cream butter and sugar together and beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time and beat well by hand. Add flour, one cup at a time, stirring until absorbed. Add lemon extract and 7-Up with hand mixer. Pour batter into well greased and floured Bundt pan. Bake at 325°F for 1 hour 15 minutes. Cake is done when toothpick comes out clean. Submitted by: Nancy Dwyer |
