SWEDISH MEATBALLS 
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
5 crackers (soda or Ritz)
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 1/2 tbsp. butter
2 tsp. angostura bitters
1/4 c. butter for sauteing
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground allspice
1/2 tsp. white pepper
1 egg
1/2 c. cold water

Soak crackers in 1/2 cup cold water, saute onion in butter, blend crackers, onion, meat, seasonings, egg and 1/2 cup water. Form in little balls and saute in butter in hot heavy skillet, shaking all the time until cooked. Can be served as an appetizer.
