| SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE | |

3 c. mashed, hot sweet potatoes 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. milk 1/3 c. melted butter 2 beaten eggs 1 tbsp. vanilla 1 c. marshmallows TOPPING: 1 c. light brown sugar 1/3 c. butter 1/3 c. flour 1 c. chopped pecans Mix first 7 ingredients. Mix topping with fork and sprinkle crumbs on top of the casserole. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes. | |

I tried this receipe and it was awesome. Everyone loved it. Only thing I did different was not mix the marshmallow in with the sweet potato mixture. I put marshmallow on top of brown sugar crumbs and then topped it some more with pecans..GREAT!!

Made this first time for Thanksgiving 2007... family favorite since! It is ... OH SO GOOD! I refer to it as "Sweet Potato Heaven" :). I make it just like the recipe, but use whatever nuts I have on hand.
