COCONUT PIE SHELL 
1/2 c. butter
1 (3 1/2 oz.) can flaked coconut

Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat, then add the coconut and toss until evenly coated. Press mixture evenly and firmly on bottom and sides of a 9 inch pie plate. Form a rim around sides of plate. Cover side and rim of shell with strips of foil. Bake at 300 degrees for 20 minutes or until bottom of shell starts to brown. Remove the foil and bake for about 10 minutes longer or until lightly browned. Cool on rack, then chill.
