APPLE PIE FILLING 
5 c. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1 c. corn starch
10 c. water
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. vanilla
Yellow food coloring
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. nutmeg

Cook until boiling or until its clear and glazy. Put 1/3 cup in quart jar and fill with raw sliced apples. Finish filling jar with cooked filling. Put in hot water bath for 20 minutes. Makes 7 quarts.
