SWEET PICKLE RELISH 
4 c. ground onions
4 c. ground cabbage
4 c. ground green tomatoes
12 green peppers, ground
6 sweet red peppers, ground
1/2 c. pickling salt
6 c. sugar
1 tsp. celery seed
1-1 1/2 tsp. turmeric (optional)
4 c. vinegar
2 c. water

Grind vegetables using coarse blade. Mix with salt; let stand overnight, then rinse well and drain. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over vegetables. Heat to a boil and simmer 3 minutes. Pack and seal. Makes 8 quarts.
