CRANBERRY MUFFINS WITH BUTTER
SAUCE
 
2 tbsp. softened butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. cranberries, whole or chopped

Cream butter and sugar together. Add milk. Sift flour and baking powder together and add. Fold in cranberries. Pour into 8 greased muffin cups. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 35 minutes.

BUTTER SAUCE:

1 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. cream
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine ingredients and cook over low heat until sugar dissolves and butter melts. Serve hot over muffins.
