PORK CHOP CASSEROLE 
6 lean pork chops
2 ripe tomatoes
1 lg. or 2 med. onions
1/2 green pepper
Marjoram and thyme
1 c. uncooked rice
1 can beef consomme
1 can water

Place rice in bottom of a fairly deep casserole dish. Brown the chops and place on top of rice. Place a thick slice of tomato, onion, and pepper on top of each chop. Add consomme and water to pan drippings in skillet and a couple pinches each of marjoram and thyme.

Salt and pepper to taste. Pour consomme mixture over rice and chops. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour or until liquid is absorbed. Cover dish.
