PORK CHOP CASSEROLE 
4 to 6 med. thick pork chops
2 ripe tomatoes
1 lg. onion
1 green pepper
9 tbsp. raw rice
1 can consomme and 1/4 to 1/3 c. water
Marjoram
Thyme

Brown chops. Place them on top of rice in fairly deep casserole. Top with thick slice of tomato, onion, and green pepper. Salt and pepper each layer. Add consomme and sprinkle with marjoram and thyme. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour, covered.
