PICKLED CABBAGE 
1 lg. head cabbage, shredded
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. celery seed

You can add carrots and/or green peppers. (Make it look nice.) Add salt. Cover with water and let stand 2 hours. Drain well. Stir in celery seed.

DRESSING:

2 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1/4 c. water

Boil all together and cool.
