HAMBURGER CORN PONE PIE 
1 tbsp. shortening
1 lb. hamburger
1/3 c. onions
1 c. tomatoes
2 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 c. drained kidney beans
1 c. cornbread batter or muffin mix

Brown onion and hamburger in shortening. Add tomatoes, chili powder, salt, Worcestershire sauce. Cover, simmer over low heat for 15 minutes. Add kidney beans, pour into greased baking dish. Top with cornbread batter. Bake in 425 degree oven for 20 minutes or until bread is done.
