GRANDMA'S PERSIMMON PUDDING 
Dissolve 1 cup brown sugar and 1/8 teaspoon salt in 2 cups hot water. Add 1 tablespoon melted butter. Pour into a 9x13 baking pan:

1/2 c. nutmeats
1/2 c. persimmon pulp, fresh or thawed
1 tbsp. butter
1 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/3 c. milk
