CHEESE PUFF SNACKS | |
1 c. water 1/2 c. butter 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. flour, sifted 3 c. cheddar cheese, grated 2 tbsp. chives, chopped 4 eggs Bring water, butter and salt to boiling point. Add flour all at once and stir over heat until mixture leaves sides of pan and forms a compact ball. Remove from heat and beat in cheese and chives. Add eggs, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto lightly greased baking sheets. Bake in a preheated 400 degree oven (hot) for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from sheets immediately. Serve warm or cold. Makes 5 1/2 dozen. |
