FRENCH ONION SOUP 
4 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. oil
2 lbs. yellow onions, sliced thin
1 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. flour
2 qts. Campbell's Beef Consomme
Garlic bread, toasted
Grated Swiss or Mozzarella cheese

Melt oil and butter. Stir in onions. Cook 20 to 30 minutes over medium heat until brown. Sprinkle in flour and salt. Cook 2 to 3 minutes. Add 2 quarts Campbell's Beef Consomme soup. (Save the labels for school!) Cook on low 20 minutes or several hours. Place soup in oven proof bowls, place 1 piece of garlic bread, sprinkle with cheese and place under broiler until cheese melts.
