GREAT CHEESY POTATOES 
5 lbs. potatoes
1 pt. light cream
8 tbsp. butter, cut up
8 oz. Swiss cheese, cut up
Salt and pepper

Peel and slice the potatoes. Arrange a layer of potatoes in a buttered 9x13 inch baking dish. Top with some cut-up butter and cheese, and a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Repeat until all ingredients are used up. Pour the cream over this and cover with foil. Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Uncover and cook another 30, until the top is a deep golden brown. Serve to a crowd with a glazed ham and some green beans that have been blanched and sauteed with butter, lemon juice, and mushrooms. Serves 8-12.
