SCOTCH SHORTBREAD | |
1 lb. butter 1 c. sugar 5 c. plain flour Soften butter until workable. Place on table and add sugar. Knead in well. Then knead in flour. Spread on cookie sheet with small rim about 1/2" or 1". Roll flat with roller. Prick with fork. Bake 1 hour and 20 minutes at 250 degrees. |
