CARAWAY SOUP 
7 to 8 c. water
1 tbsp. salt
1 med. onion
3 tbsp. caraway seed
Pepper to taste

Cook the above ingredients about 15 minutes (strain the above if desired). Brown 3 tablespoons butter. Add 3 tablespoons flour. Stir to form a paste, remove from the heat and add 1 cup of the above water to the paste, mix well. Return the paste to the caraway water and cook to boiling point.

EGG DROP:

Beat 1 egg. Add 1 tablespoon water and pour slowly into boiling soup. Cook 5 minutes.
