BUTTER RUM CAKE 
3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sour milk
1 c. butter
2 tsp. rum flavoring
4 eggs

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease (butter) and flour a 10-inch tube pan. Combine all the ingredients and blend at a low speed until moist. Beat for 3 minutes at high speed. Bake 70 minutes.

BUTTER SAUCE:

3/4 c. sugar
3 tbsp. water
1/3 c. butter

Combine all ingredients and coat until the butter melts. Take from heat. Poke deep holes in cake and pour hot sauce over cake.
