TEXAS HASH 
2 lg. onions, diced
2 green peppers, diced fine
3 tbsp. shortening
1 lb. hamburger
2 c. canned tomatoes
1/2 c. uncooked rice
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Fry hamburger lightly; add all other ingredients. Cook a few minutes more. Put in a baking pan and cover. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes.
