BEEF STEW MADE IN OVEN 
2 lbs. stew meat
2 onions
3 lg. stalks of celery
6 carrots
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. salt
2 tbsp. tapioca
1 c. tomato juice

Potato and more tomato juice can be added. Cut meat in bite size pieces; cut vegetable medium size. Put everything in a casserole with tight cover. Bake at 250 degrees for 4 hours.
