SHOE-ME STRAWBERRY PIE DESSERT 
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. oil
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
2 tbsp. milk
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. white corn syrup
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. water
2 tbsp. strawberry gelatin
4 c. sm. whole strawberries

Mix first 5 ingredients in bowl. Pat into 9 x 9 inch baking dish. Prick bottom with fork. Bake at 350 degrees until light brown. Cool. Mix 1 cup sugar, syrup, cornstarch and water in 3 quart saucepan. Cook over medium heat until thick and clear, stirring constantly. Add gelatin; stir until dissolved. Cool. Stir in strawberries. Spoon over crust. Chill until firm. Yield: 9 servings.
