VANILLA OR PEACH ICE CREAM 
2 eggs
2 c. milk
3/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. heavy whipping cream

If desired may add 1 cup chopped peaches.

Separate the eggs and make a soft custard of milk, egg yolks, and sugar. Beat the egg whites stiff and over them pour the hot custard and mix thoroughly. Add vanilla and salt; stir until cool and add whipped cream. Pour into freezer. Makes 2 quarts.
