HELEN'S NUT BREAD 
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
7-8 c. flour
1 c. sour cream
1 c. shortening
1 cake yeast in 1 c. warm water

Mix all ingredients, knead 15 minutes or until mixture leaves side of bowl. If sticky add more flour.

NUT BREAD FILLING:

1 lb. ground nuts
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. boiling water
1 c. grated coconut

Add liquid to nuts. Mix for spreading. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Spread filling over rolled dough like jelly roll. Place in pan, let rise 1/2 hour.
