APPLE CRISP WITH ORANGE JUICE 
4 c. sliced pared tart apples
1/4 c. orange juice
1 c. sugar
3/4 c. flour, sifted
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
Dash of salt
1/3 c. butter

Mound apples in buttered pie plate and pour orange juice over them. In separate bowl, combine sugar, flour, spices, and salt; cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle over apples.

Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is crisp. Serve warm with cream.
