HERB BREAD 
4 tbsp. herb mix
1/2 tsp. salt
4 c. high gluten flour
1 tbsp. granulated sugar
1 tbsp. salad oil
1 whole egg
1 1/2 tbsp. yeast
1 1/2 c. warm water, 90-110 degrees
1/2 c. yellow cornmeal on the pan

HERB MIX:

4 tbsp. Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp. oregano
1 tbsp. sweet basil
2 tbsp. chives or onion
1 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. paprika
1 tbsp. garlic salt (or powder)

Mix Herb Mix ingredients together and keep in a tight jar.

1. Sprinkle cornmeal on pan.

2. Mix in a straight dough, adding water last.

3. Turn onto floured board and knead for 10 minutes. Adjusting water if necessary.

4. Allow dough to rest 10 minutes.

5. Divide into two halves, and shape loaves, brush with beaten egg. Allow to double in size. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes to a golden color, will have a hollow sound when tapped on. Yield: 2 loaves.
