BAKED BEANS 
3 lbs. pork and beans, drained
3/4 c. brown sugar
Catsup, several shakes
1 tsp. prepared mustard
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
5 drops Tabasco sauce

Mix well and top with bacon, if desired. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

DIETITIAN'S NOTE:

Beans are a good source of protein and fiber, low in fat and cholesterol and an inexpensive meat substitute. You could reduce calories by cutting back on the brown sugar.
