CREAM CHEESE BARS | |
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese 2 (8 oz.) tubes crescent rolls 1 c. sugar + 1/2 c. sugar for topping 1 tsp. vanilla 2 eggs, separated (whip whites until frothy) Press 1 package crescent rolls into 9x13 pan. Mix softened cream cheese with 1 cup sugar, 2 egg yolks and vanilla. Spread over bottom crust. Use 2nd package of crescent rolls to form top crust. Spread frothy egg whites over top and sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup sugar. Bake 25 minutes at 350 degrees (or until golden). Refrigerate. |
