LEMON CHESS PIE 
1/2 c. buttermilk
Juice & rind of 1 lemon
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
Butter the size of an egg
1 1/2 tbsp. flour

Mix ingredients, STIRRING IN BUTTERMILK LAST. Pour into crust. Cook in moderate oven until set and done. (This is a very old recipe that came to me from family in Forest, Mississippi.)
