CARAMEL BROWNIES 
1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
2/3 c. canned milk
1/2 c. butter
1 pkg. Swiss chocolate cake mix
1 c. chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour cake pan. Melt caramels with 1/3 cup canned milk. Set aside. Melt butter. In a large bowl mix butter, cake mix, and 1/3 cup canned milk. Mix well. Spread 1/2 of the batter in cake pan and bake for 6 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from oven. Sprinkle 1 cup chocolate chips over brownies. Spread caramel over the chips. Then spread other 1/2 of the batter on top and bake another 15-17 minutes.
