2 c. plain low fat yogurt
1/2 tsp. minced or crushed garlic
3-4 tbsp. lemon juice
2 halibut fillets or similar firm white fish, 3/4" to 1" thick
Turn broiler on. In bowl or pitcher blend yogurt, garlic and lemon juice. Line broiler pan with foil and place fish on it. Spread half the sauce on fish, broil 10 minutes, then check for doneness (yogurt topping will be light golden and fish can be flaked with fork). Broil longer if necessary, but do not over cook. Transfer fish to warm plates and serve. Put remaining yogurt sauce in pitcher and pass. Makes two servings.
