IRISH COFFEE CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. sugar plus 3 tsp. cinnamon

Cream butter and sugar; add rest of ingredients. Make separate sugar and cinnamon mixture. Pour half of batter into greased and floured loaf pan. Sprinkle half of sugar plus cinnamon mixture; stir into batter with knife. Repeat with rest of batter and cinnamon mixture. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees. Cool in pan for 1/2 hour; remove from pan.
