LEMON SQUARES 
1 c. sweet butter, softened
1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 c. flour

FILLING:

4 eggs, lightly beaten
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. flour
1/4 c. lemon juice

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter and sugar. Add flour and mix well. Pat into a 9"x13" pan. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or golden.

FILLING: Combine all filling ingredients and pour over hot crust. Return to oven and bake 20 to 25 minutes. Sprinkle top with powdered sugar while warm. Cut into small squares. Makes about 30 small squares.
