WHITE RICE WITH BACON BITS 
3 c. white rice - long grain rice
1 tsp. oil
Salt to taste
3 1/2 c. water
1 c. bacon bits

Rinse the rice before cooking, set aside. In large pan boil the water with the oil and salt. When the water has boiled, put about 1 cup of bacon bits in it, then put the rice, mix it all together and let the water evaporate on high heat, then lower the temperature to the lowest setting and cover it. Let it cook for about 20 minutes until the rice is done.
