CAROLYN'S CHOCOLATE SURPRISE 
1 pkg. Duncan Hines Devils food cake mix
1 pkg. chocolate fudge instant pudding
1/4 c. Crisco or Wesson oil
2 eggs
1 1/4 c. water

Mix all the above. Add 1 cup chocolate chips. Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 325-350 degrees for approximately 1 hour until center springs back.

Serve with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream or if you prefer just sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
