BUTTER DROP INS 
1/2 c. butter Crisco
3/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. milk
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease cookie sheets. Cream together butter, sugar and milk. Beat in egg and vanilla. Combine flour, salt and baking powder in separate bowl and then add to egg mixture. Bake for 7 to 10 minutes. When cool, frost as desired.

FROSTING:

1/2 c. butter or Crisco
4 c. confectioners' sugar
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix together. Blend on high for 2 minutes. Can use food coloring if desired.
