SIX LAYER CABBAGE SALAD 
1 sm. head cabbage, shredded
1/2 head cauliflower, cut in small pieces
1 diced onion
1/2 c. grated cheese
1/2 lb. bacon, fried and crumbled
1 c. salad dressing
1/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste

Layer cabbage, cauliflower, onion, cheese and bacon in bowl. Mix salad dressing, lemon juice, salt and pepper, spread over salad. Sealing the edges. Cover tightly. When ready to serve, mix well (very important). This may be made a day ahead and keeps very well several days after it is mixed. Grated carrots, diced green pepper, and diced celery may be added.
