Slice beef thinly and score lightly with a knife to make it more tender. Cut it into bite size pieces and marinate it in sugar and rice wine. Mix the marinated beef thoroughly with soy sauce, chopped garlic, green onions, sesame seeds, MSG, and sesame oil. Broil the seasoned beef over hot charcoal or a grill, or in a frying pan. Serve in lettuce or sesame leaves with cooked rice.
SUGGESTION: It tastes better mixed with seasoned beef prepared 10 hours in advance and placed in the refrigerator until ready to cook it with sliced mushrooms, carrots, and onions.
