TURKEY FRAME SOUP 
1 meaty turkey frame
5 qts. water
1 onion, quartered
4 tsp. salt
3 tomatoes, quartered
1 tsp. dried thyme, crushed
1/2 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
8 c. fresh vegetables (any combination of uncooked sliced celery, sliced carrot, chopped onion, chopped rutabaga, sliced mushrooms, chopped broccoli, and cauliflowerets)
3 c. uncooked homemade noodles

Place turkey frame in large Dutch oven with water, onion, and salt. Bring to boiling; reduce heat and simmer, covered, 1 1/2 hours. Remove turkey frame; cool until it can be handled. Remove meat from bones; discard bones. Remove onion from broth.
