MARINATED FLANK STEAK 
1/2 c. soy sauce
2 tbsp. corn oil (or olive oil)
2 tbsp. white vinegar
6 tsp. granulated sugar
1 1/2 tsp. garlic, minced
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 1/2 tsp. powdered ginger

Marinate steak with above sauce overnight in the refrigerator. Broil steak on both sides, saving juices for basting.

(Substitute Sweet & Low (4 tsp.) for granulated sugar).
