ORIGINAL SIN CHILI - PRIZEWINNER 
3 (10 oz.) cans beef bouillon
3 lbs. ground beef, browned and drained
1 lg. Spanish onion, chopped
2 pickled milk banana peppers, seeded and chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 bay leaf
2 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. onion powder
2 tsp. instant beef bouillon
1/2 c. barbecue sauce
Pinch of red pepper
Pinch thyme
1/4 c. liquid hot sauce (Tabasco)
2 pkgs. dried onion soup
3 lbs. steak, cubed, browned and drained
3 stalks celery, chopped
2 green peppers, seeded and chopped
1/2 c. banana pepper juice from above canned peppers
3 oz. chili powder
1 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. paprika
2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. ketchup
Pinch of basil
1/2 tsp. black pepper
1 (12 oz.) beer

Combine ingredients in large pot. Simmer 2 hours. Correct seasonings and add some beer for flavor. Simmer additional hour. Makes 1 gallon.

This is WAY better when you include a big can of V8 juice. My original copy of the recipe specified the V8 and it adds moisture and that "tomatoey" flavor. But a fabulous chili either way, and people are SO impressed with the ingredient list:)

You forgot the 2 (28 oz. each) cans of stewed tomatoes and 1 (48 oz.) V8. It's much better with those in the mix.
