HAMBURGER POT PIE 
ONION PASTRY (makes double crust) :

2 c. plain flour (sifted)
3/4 c. shortening
1 tsp. onion salt
1/4 c. cold water

Mix ingredients and line 9 inch pie plate with 1/2 of the mixture -- other half is top crust.

PIE FILLING:

1 tbsp. shortening
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 can (16 oz.) green beans (drained)
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. oregano
1 can (10 oz.) tomato soup

Brown ground beef and onion in the shortening. Stir in seasonings, beans, and soup. Pour into pastry shell. Cover with top crust. Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes.
