1 box yellow cake mix
1 egg
3/4 stick melted butter
1/2 c. pecans

Grease a 7 x 11 pan; press half the batter in pan. Mix: 6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Melt the milk and chocolate chips over low heat and then pour over the batter. Pour remaining batter on top of melted chocolate. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Cool and then cut into squares.

A friend of a friend had lunch at Nieman Marcus in November and for dessert she had a cookie. She thought it was the most delicious cookie she had ever tasted and asked if the recipe was available. She was told that it was but there was a charge of two-fifty. She said that was fine and she got the recipe and told them to charge it to her account. In December when she got her bill, there was a charge of $250.00. She called and told them there was a mistake - that the charge should be $2.50. She was told there was no mistake - that the charge was correct. She vowed to get them back and wants to get the recipe out to everyone she possibly can and asks that everyone who gets a copy send it to everyone they know... it is with that in mind that we present it here.
