ROYAL HAMBURGER 
1 lb. meat (1/2 beef, 1/2 pork)
1 egg
2 tbsp. cornstarch
3/4 c. milk
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. marjoram
8-10 slices bacon
1/2 c. carrots, sliced
1/2 c. potatoes, quartered
8-10 slices cheese

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Mix meat, egg, cornstarch and milk. Add salt, pepper and marjoram. Make 8-10 patties an inch thick. Put a slice of bacon around the pattie and put them close together on a 9 x 13 inch pan. Spread the carrot and potatoes around the edges. Bake in the oven 25-30 minutes and add the cheese on top of the patties the last 10 minutes.
