1 lb. carrots
water
1/4 lb. butter
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. brown sugar

Pare carrots, slice and cook in boiling, salted water until tender. Drain. Melt butter in saucepan, add carrots and brown sugar, stir to coat evenly. Heat through and serve.
